The Studio was founded in 2005, initially based in London Lucy has worked on projects all over the South of England and some further afield. Having moved to Sussex in 2017 projects are becoming more varied and dispersed, happiest working from London down to the South Coast and the Isle of Wight, but will of course look at projects further afield.

The Studio provides the Overall Design and Soft landscaping aspects and can then work with several experienced landscape companies to carry out the construction, providing as much or little overseeing and project management as you require.

The studio prides itself on working with long term sustainability underlining every project, focusing on working with nature to create beautiful yet practical results.

Lucy has been gardening professionally for over 20 years, graduating with Commendation in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Diploma in Horticulture and achieving Distinction in the Garden Design Diploma at the English Gardening School based in the Chelsea Physic Gardens. Add to that a background as varied as a Masters degree in Engineering and a graduate career in IT programming and Support she is perfectly placed to provide a unique and adaptive response to your design requirements.
